Are these hacky sacks?
If you searched "hacky sack" and landed here, you're in the right place. "Hacky Sack®" is actually a brand name — trademarked by Wham-O since 1983 — kind of like Kleenex or Band-Aid. The real word for what we sell is footbag. Same idea, just the proper name for it.
Who's behind KickRats?
Aiden, age 15, and his dad. Aiden is the founder and the face of the brand — he writes the notes, designs the cards, and runs the TikTok. His dad handles the LLC, the boring legal stuff, and packing orders. We're building this together, in public, on TikTok.
How old is Aiden, really?
15. He plays baseball and tennis, and he's still learning footbag tricks himself. You can watch him work through them on @shopkickrats.
I've never kicked a footbag before. Is this for me?
Yes. Every order comes with a 5-card challenge deck that walks you from absolute beginner (INSIDE KICK, one star) up to harder tricks (AROUND THE WORLD, four stars). You don't need experience — you just need to start.
When will my order ship?
1–2 business days after you order, then 2–5 days in USPS Ground Advantage. You'll get a tracking email the moment we print the label. Pre-orders ship within a few business days of inventory landing — we'll email you the day shipments start.
Do you ship outside the US?
US only, for now. Drop your email on the waitlist and we'll let you know when international opens.
How much is shipping?
Free on every order. No minimum, no codes, no asterisk.
Can I change or cancel my order after I place it?
We pack and ship fast — but if it hasn't gone out yet, email support@kickrats.com with your order number and we'll catch it. If it's already shipped, you'll have to wait for it to arrive.
What if my package is lost or never arrives?
Email us with your order number. We cover it — replacement or refund, your call.
What's your return policy?
We cover damaged, defective, lost, or wrong items, no questions. We don't do change-of-mind returns since footbags are personal-use items. Full details on the Shipping & Returns page.
How do I get started once it arrives?
Open the box. Read Aiden's note. Pick a card — INSIDE KICK is the easiest. Then drop the bag and start kicking. If you land a trick, film it and tag @shopkickrats — Aiden reposts the best ones.
